A typical day  
7:30-9:00 Early Risers
Children may bring breakfast, enjoy traditional play materials, and help teachers prepare the classroom for the day’s activities.
9:00-12:00 Morning Montessori
Children receive lessons and begin working with the Montessori classroom materials. This period may involve group work, singing, and reading stories among others.
12:00 Lunch/Dismissal
Children in the half-day program are dismissed while children in the extended-day program eat lunch.
12:30-1:00 Playtime
The children enjoy the playground or gym.
1:00-3:00 Quiet Afternoons (for children under four years)
Children under four years of age fall asleep to lullabies in the nap room. After their rest, the children eat a snack and enjoy a story or song at group time.
1:00-3:00 PreK/Kindergarten Class (for children four and older)
The children take this opportunity to explore more advanced materials and enjoy the benefit of specialized instructions from our Montessori teachers.
3:00-6:00 After School Class/Dismissal
Children not going home at 3:00 spend the afternoon playing on the playground, enjoying arts and crafts projects, reading stories, playing games, and using traditional play materials.
