The objective of the science program
is to develop each child’s natural curiosity and invite them
to discover the answers to some of their “Whys”. In this way, developing in the child an
awareness and appreciation of the world in which they exist.
Each classroom contains many materials with which to explore various
aspects of science through experimentation and discovery. They involve the study of:
- Plants (nature cards, outdoor excursions)
- Animals (characteristics and classification)
- Health and nutrition (parts of the body, food categories and experiments)
Specialized units of study focus
on specific subject areas such as astronomy, anatomy, or dinosaurs.
