The format of WFCH is based on the Montessori
concept of education. Its main objective is to provide both creative
and stimulating intellectual, artisitic, and developmental experiences
for the two-year old and pre-school child.
The classrooms are comprised of several interrelated areas: Practical
Life, Sensorial, Language,
Mathematics, Art,
Social Studies, Music/Movement,
Geography and Science. The daily routine
is complemented by a full range of cultural experiences including:
drama, music, poetry, art, Spanish, and occasional field trips.
White Flint Children's House instills in each child a sense of
acceptance and understanding through our diverse learning environment.
The school is non-denominational and does not discriminate on the
basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation,
or disability in the admission of students, employment of faculty,
or administration of policies.
